Hiking & Cycling in Jeseniky

There are trails for both a demanding hiker and families with children, every single one is is perfectly marked and you simply cannot lose your way. The trails are provided with information boards which will tell you more about the country and its specialties.

The most important route of the area leads from Malá Morávka-Karlov via The Great Basin (Velká kotlina) under the mountain of Praděd to Peter´s stones (Petrovy kameny). This trail enables the hikers to encounter a variety of rare species of plants and is among the most significant botanical areas of the Central Europe.

In the neighbourhood of the hotel (up to 10 km) we recommend:

•	National Nature Reserve Praděd;
•	Peter´s stones, veiled by many folk legends;
•	Bílá Opava nature trail, leading through the romantic-looking canyon of a mountain river;
•	Karlova Studánka spa;
•	and many more;

The forests of Jeseník are abundant with berries and mushrooms as well.

Cycling trails follow less busy roads, country lanes and pathways. We recommend the trail Kotelní potok - Mravencovka - Alfrédka - Skřítek, which starts right at Malá Morávka.

Mountain bikes can be borrowed at the hotel.
