It is an excellent entrance point for the whole National Park of Jeseníky, whose highest peak, Praděd (elevation 1492 m) lies just some 8 kilometres away from the hotel. The general area is sought after by tourists during all seasons as it is an excellent place for hiking, cycling, downhill and cross-country skiing and snowboarding but it is well possible just to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
